FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What services does your company offer?

We are a small business networking group, dedicated to offering fully functional, yet economical, solutions to your business IT needs.

How experienced is your team?

With 40+ years of experience in small, medium, and large business IT, we bring all of that knowledge to the small business arena. No more guessing if your IT company has the skills to support you. We do!

Can you provide examples of projects you've completed?

We have 200+ small businesses that we currently offer services to. We have worked on multi-million dollar projects, as well as helping small businesses with only a few hundred dollars to work with.

What industries do you specialize in?

We work with businesses across all industries.

Do you offer ongoing support after the project is completed?

We not only offer support, we encourage companies to get on our monitoring system (Sentry) and our backup solution (Sky Vault) to maintain that the network continues to stay secured and the data remains safe.

What is your approach to cybersecurity?

We have an aggressive, proactive approach to cybersecurity. Small businesses usually get the leftovers in the IT world when it comes to cyber security, so we work on bringing that enterprise level protection to the small business realm.

How do you handle data privacy and compliance?

Data is sacred to us. Your data is yours, and no one else’s. We will do everything we can to ensure that not a drop of data goes missing or stolen.

What are your rates and pricing structures?

We are a break/fix (hourly) company. Only call us when you need us. If you are on our systems, we will let you know when we see something going on, so we can discuss remediation.

What technologies and platforms do you work with?

We work with whatever the company needs. If we cannot do it, we can suggest a vendor partner who can probably assist better.

Can you help with software integration and migration?

Yes. We have vast experience with software migrations and production system changeovers.

Do you provide training for the systems or software you implement?

Yes, we “test drive” and train all of our users whenever we add, move, or change anything in the environment.

What is your process for troubleshooting and resolving issues?

We use a “reverse pyramid” approach to ensure that everything is tested and resolved. We work from the basics, all the way to the user.

How do you stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies?

We pay attention to tech news and real world scenarios to keep ourselves at the tip of technology for our clients.

What sets your company apart from competitors?

We are not a purely reactive IT company. Break/fix IT companies are rarely pro-active. We coordinate with you immediately, schedule you as soon as possible, and if the severity is crippling you, we push you to the head of the list. Our goal is to keep everyone working.

Do you have any certifications or partnerships that validate your expertise?

Aside from numerous certifications that we have obtained (MCSA, MCSE, CEH, A+, NET+, Server+, Security+), we partner with multiple IT vendors in town so that if we cannot fix something or provide a product, one of our vendors can. We work with Silverwulf, Doghouse, Woody’s PC, EDC, S1, PC Recovery, and many more to ensure that your needs are taken care of. We just want to make sure you have the best fit possible.

How do you handle communication and project updates with clients?

Directly and consistently. While on projects, you will have regular, concise updates on what’s going on.

What is your policy on changes or modifications during a project?

If a hurdle comes up, we will work with the client directly on options and pricing. We do a very thorough foot-printing before each project, but sometimes things happen.
